Oefelestraße 1b: Life in the still original Munich

In 2011, MHG Munich Hoteldevelopment Group GmbH realized this residential building project in a prime location in the still original Munich.

The district Au extends from “Deutsches Museum” in the north and along the river Isar up to “Wittelsbacher Brücke” in the south. It is located opposite the old town on the southeastern plain tract of the river Isar. Adjacent city districts are Ludwigvorstadt-Isarvorstadt and Altstadt-Lehel on the western side of the Isar, Untergiesing-Harlaching in the south and Giesing in the southeast. Haidhausen, which belongs to the same district, lies above the hillside in the east.

The new building in Oefelestraße 1b with its appealing curtain-wall facing and floor-length windows creates a light and modern appearance. Point-loaded ceilings allow a completely flexible room layout without any joists. The building is provided with underground parking offering 6 spaces and an exit ramp within the building (gate at the edge of the sidewalk). Each apartment includes a spacious outdoor area (roof terrace on the 1st floor, balcony on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor, and glass winter garden that can be completely opened on the 4th floor).

The inner courtyard is divided into clearly structured individual areas that will be shaped according to different requirements and applications.
